Turunç Diary - December 2011

There was a village wedding which was very well attended and the weather was glorious. It was lovely to watch the groom come into the village to collect his bride.

Musti's Restaurant is keen to introduce rooftop dining next year.

TurkTelecom have been busy digging up the mountain road and laying new cables. Hopefully this will stop the internet going when the weather is stormy. Let's hope they make some decent repairs to the road once the work is finished.

Tansaş in Marmaris is finally down but it seems to be taking some time to clear the rubble.

Pasha's held the usual Christmas party on the 17th December before people travelled home. Some unlucky souls were stuck at Dalaman for 22 hours but thankfully arrived home safe and sound before the fat man in the red suit arrived.

New Year's Eve parties are being held this year at Korfez and NuBambo. Meydan (the old Habit) is putting on a barbecue and Habit Too is planning a beach party! Let's hope the weather is good for them.

The much gossiped about new hotel next to Habit Too has been put on hold.
