In a setting between the main street and sea, and enjoying a prime spot with sandy beachfront, Turunç Malmen offers a spectacular destination and unique resort experience on the Aegean coastline. With simple but neat touches, the 16 guestrooms of our hotel offer beautiful sea and street/mountain views.

Turunç Malmen is a small family run hotel and operates on a bed and breakfast basis.

Accommodation

• 14 standard rooms – one bedroom sleeps 2, choice of two single or one double bed
• 2 large rooms – two bedroom sleeps 4

Please note that we do not take bookings of less than 3 nights in peak season (from July 7 to August 25) and 2 nights in shoulder season. Children under 6 stays free of charge.

Most of the rooms offer gorgeous sea views and some are with side sea-view and mountain/main street view.

Our generous breakfast buffet includes local premium brands of cheese, butter, honey, homemade jams, summer fruits, pastries and fresh eggs.

In an effort to better serve our guests, Turunç Malmen’s extensive renovation project was completed in 2018 and 2019. We look forward to welcoming and hosting you in our newly decorated rooms.

Dining

As mentioned earlier, Turunç Malmen operates on a bed & breakfast basis. In the meantime our valued tenants Sezgin and Şenol (pronounced Shenol) have recently opened a restaurant & beach-bar business in our front garden and beachfront, called “Yalı Sea Club” named after their former restaurant located on the upper side of the beach. YSC presents a wonderful ambiance and quality, thanks to the creativity introduced by Sezgin. Their menu features almost anything one can imagine; coastal bites, sea-food, grilled meat, fabulous cocktails and wide range of alcoholic drinks. A great place to swim, sunbathe, drink eat and repeat…

There are about 30 restaurants and a dozen bars mostly located on the sea-side and main street offering different tastes with some hitting all five senses.

Turunç Information

The village is located to the east of the Bozburun peninsula, lying literally at the end of the mountain road.  The captivating beauty of the Aegean stretches for miles in the east while the other three sides are surrounded by high and steep mountains, giving stunning views to the sea .In addition to natural beauty, the world famous beach with crystal clear sea water and wonderfully slow paced rhythm accompanied by rural lifestyle make Turunç a great destination for regenerating vacation.  Transportation is provided by minibuses to İçmeler and Marmaris on a regular basis as well as by boats from the sea.

We will be delighted to help you plan any outside activities including boat tours, excursions and assist with needs like car and bike rentals.

It is a thrill to watch the moon rising out of the Mediterranean on a full moon day and discover the brightness of crowded stars on a moonless late night, when the light pollution is absent.

Blue Flag

The sand and shingle beach of Turunç is the proud holder of the Blue Flag, an annual award given to cleanest sea water and beaches.  Tightly controlled criteria are determined by ''European Environment and Education Foundation-FREE'' based in Copenhagen.  It is an international and powerful tool in achieving excellence in swimming water quality, beach management, hygiene and life safety.
