The modern and spacious living area is great for a get-together, while the self-contained nature of the property keeps you that bit separate from the apartment blocks. The properties also look out on views to die for: the mountains beneath which Turunç nestles, and the surrounding rustic countryside, not to mention incredible sunrises and, if you're lucky enough to time it right, amazing views of the full moon. The five neat studio apartments at Physkos are great for couples who enjoy being out and about, exploring the beautiful surroundings and taking advantage of being at the heart of Mediterranean culture. Here you have a comfortable base to return to after a day of exploring, with the open living area furnished in rich yet simple details. The apartment blocks are elegant buildings whose exteriors are a combination of white-washed walls and rough stone. All of the studio properties feature a double bed and two balconies, most of which offer fantastic views of the mountains, tempting sun-lovers outside. And if you can’t face the short walk to the stunning Mediterranean coastline, no matter, because the pool is right outside your door!
Built with a single-storey layout, these spacious, well-designed properties have been furnished to a high standard; a home-from-home setting has been excellently incorporated into the design of the modern interiors, perfect for relaxed and sociable family meals and evening gatherings. Open plan kitchen and living rooms are decorated with colours and tones that compliment the traditional white-washed stone exteriors of the elegant apartment blocks themselves. All apartments enjoy access to their own small terraces or balconies, and most of these have marvellous views and provide a great spot for catching those afternoon rays. With a choice of one, two or three-bedroom properties available, and with a spacious, well-formed design these apartments can make a great base for couples, families or a group of up to five guests.
An initial payment from £5,000 and a quarterly fee of under £38 (that is around £150 a year), which can increase in line with but not exceed the Retail Price Index Excluding Mortgage Interest (RPIX), gives you access to all HPB’s holiday homes. For each HPB holiday, you will pay a no-profit user charge covering only property running and maintenance costs and use of on-site facilities. The average charge is the same throughout the year, and for a studio is around £360 a week and £540 for a two bedroom property. Larger properties are also available. After an initial charge of 25% your money is invested in a fund of holiday properties and securities. The fund itself meets annual charges of 2.5% of its net assets at cost, calculated monthly. Your investment return is purely in the form of holidays and, as with most investments, your capital is at risk. You can surrender your investment to the company after two years or more (subject to deferral in exceptional circumstances) but you will get back less than you invested because of the charges referred to above, as well as other overheads and changes in the value of the fund’s properties and securities.
