What a wet three months we have had since the last update!
Hailstones which left "snow" everywhere and closed the mountain road to traffic for a few hours, flooding outside Musti Restaurant and very high tides resulting in massive stone deposits. Fortunately the harbour has escaped any major damage this year.
The digger has been in the riverbank clearing away debris and finally repairing two of the canal walls.
Fortunately the temperatures have started to slowly rise and spring is in the air. The early flowers are out on the mountain and new chicks are hatching just in time for Easter. What we wouldn't give over here for a chocolate egg or two
As the new season approaches work has started on improvements to Musti Restaurant and Kings is having a new shop-front.
A small roof has been installed on part of the tea garden and the old Dream Boys/Habit Too is undergoing major works under the new owner Sezgin (Mola Aparts).
Some shops are already open for business for part of the day and the first taxi boat is in the water.
There is also a new HSBC bank machine.
OMG! What is happening at Fidan's this year?
Strongest rumours suggest a partly enclosed area to allow music after midnight. Watch this space for the grand reveal.
