Hasan Arik - the "Spice Man" or the "Turkish Delight Man" - has been welcoming visitors to Turunç since 1992!.

Manager Orhan along with Mustafa and Onur are on hand to help you explore this veritable treasure trove of tempting items which capture the taste and smells of Turkey.

The excellent Turkish Delight for which the shop is famous is still on offer - but there is so much more to explore and enjoy.

Choose from a wide range of natural Dalan olive oil products - hand, body and face creams, shampoos, soaps, shower gels - along with typically Turkish towels and bathroom sets. Be amazed at the choice of over 30 different top-quality essential oils - each with a specific purpose. Choose from a range of top-quality Thalia soaps. The shop stocks a good selection of hairbrushes for ladies and men and men's shaving sets for that traditional Turkish experience.

Each year, the shop expands its range with interesting new products; for 2023 these include:

• "Inspired by Original" perfumes - in various sizes
• Skulls & Mugs
• Ceramic Turkish breakfast/mezze platters
• 100% local Olive Oil
• Traditional prayer bead sets

The shop offers a wide selection of teas and coffees along with Turkish-style cups, pots and coffee and tea sets. There is a range of hand-made, traditional water and coffee pots from Eastern Turkey which are very attractive - and very different.

You can choose from a range of different local honeys as well as pistachio and hazel nuts. The shop also stocks Pomegranate Sour Sauce which is ideal for making that delicious Turkish-tasting salad dressing that we all love.

There are many spices to choose from including the very popular red-coloured Ottoman spice. Hasan and Orhan will gladly explain to you how best to enjoy these and they can be purchased loose (by weight) or in pre-prepared sets.

Anatolia Turkish Delight and Spices is where it always has been - on the main street close to the bridge. It is open from early April until the beginning of November and from 9AM until midnight every day.
