Turunç Diary - March 2018

Merhaba

Turunç is coming out of hibernation and the yellow pollen is everywhere already!

The weather has been typical for the time of year with massive storms and wonderful warm, "sunshiny" days that make you feel happy inside. Building work is proceeding at full speed, at least one more new build has its footings in place ... and we have another pontoon!

Trees and flowers are in bloom, the garden shop is selling bedding plants etc. and tortoises are coming out of their shells.

Shops, bars and restaurants are getting ready for the season and some are open for business. Physkos has holiday makers already. And of course the tea garden never fails to provide an idyllic spot to chill out and take in the breathtaking view.

I hope that you will be lucky enough to visit this year and appreciate Turunç for yourselves. Check out those flights! The exchange rate is excellent for tourists now, 5.6 as I write (but not for the Turkish economy).
