For a taste of traditional Turkish cuisine, you must visit Şerife's Kitchen.
This family-run restaurant is located just off the main street and is well shaded by the beautiful fruit trees.
The restaurant prepares and serves authentic Turkish dishes to suit all tastes.
Şerife's Kitchen serves a traditional Turkish breakfast spread consisting of eggs, olives cheeses, tomatoes, jams, honey and fresh bread and more: 22 dishes in all!!. For those with (slightly) smaller appetites, a more modest 16-dish Turkish breakfast plate is offered. Both are beautifully plated for all the family to share. The breakfast service starts at 9 a.m. with last orders taken at 1 p.m.
Dinner service starts at 6 p.m. with last orders at 9 p.m. The speciality casseroles and traditional Turkish meals are lovingly slow cooked in clay pots.
Alternatively you can choose freshly grilled chicken, meatballs, lamb or fish ... individually prepared just for you!
Please remember some of our meals need to be ordered before 2 p.m. for service that evening.
A vegetarian menu is available as well as a children's menu.
Şerife's Kitchen offers traditional village bread made to order.
To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to make reservations for this very popular restaurant for your planned evening visit.
The restaurant offers a takeaway and delivery service on all meals as well as airport packages to avoid the exorbitant airport prices.
Pancake Mondays are back!
Every market-day Monday during the season sees the return of the lady herself - Şerife Aktürk.
Şerife's Gözleme service - freshly-made pancakes, cooked traditionally over an open fire - will be available between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
There is a choice of savoury or sweet pancakes - or you can have one of each!
Şerife's Kitchen is a very different and hugely enjoyable dining experience - not to be missed when you visit Turunç.
