Opened in 2016, Turunç Bistro is a small and friendly, family-owned restaurant and café offering a selection of Turkish dishes as well as barbecues and British cuisine at affordable prices.

Turunç Bistro has a wide choice of dishes on the menu - look out for their daily "specials" such as eggplant with mince-meat, vegetable fritters, Turkish ravioli and meatballs. "Foreign" dishes such as Greek lasagne have become firm favourites with guests and a small selection of Indian-style meals is also available.

A selection of tasty home-made desserts and pastries is also available - Mehtap's cheesecake and strawberry tarts are very popular: a perfect accompaniment if you just pop-in for a daytime coffee or tea.

Turunç Bistro has an extensive menu of special casseroles for you to enjoy including lamb, chicken, beef meatball. Slow-cooked in the traditional Turkish style, these delicious dishes do need to be pre-ordered one day in advance.

Turunç Bistro is easily found on the main street between the Tea Garden and the Mosque.  It is open from early morning until late for breakfast (Turkish), lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open year round and has a cozy indoor area for those cooler days and nights.
