At Gypsy Restaurant, owner Vedat Çeçe has created a fresh, intimate and typically Turkish restaurant with a varied menu - all of it delicious. Since opening in 2011 as the Minem, it has gone from success to success and is consistently rated as one of the top ten restaurants in Turunç on Tripadvisor.

With one of the best sea-front locations in Turunç, Gypsy is an ideal spot to base yourself for a day on the beach. Lunches are excellent value and drinks and snacks are served throughout the day by Vedat and his small team.

It is at night when the charm of Gypsy restaurant is really seen.

With a small number of tables, some on decking right next to the sea, soft music, the lapping of the waves, discrete service and outstanding food - this is a really intimate dining experience.

It's probably a good idea to reserve a table - this is a very popular restaurant.

Whether you choose from the wide range of international cuisine or traditional Eastern Turkish dishes that are Gypsy's speciality, this is an experience not to be missed. The iron-pan and clay pot dishes are a speciality main course and the meze starters offer a great and inventive variety of typical Turkish tastes.

And, if you are still hungry, you can always choose Gypsy's fried ice-cream dessert - probably best shared: it's very filling!
