Your hosts at the Vanilla Bar - Kath and Murat - have been welcoming visitors to this cosy village meeting place for 16 years. Good music, great cocktails, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere all combine to make the Vanilla Bar a 'must visit' location for a sometimes relaxing and occasionally lively evening in Turunç.

The Vanilla Bar can be found on the main street in Turunç and is open from April through November, from 11:00 until very late.  It has a comfortable indoor area and a small outside terrace - great for people-watching while enjoying your drinks.

And what a choice of drinks!  A huge selection of local and imported beers (like Tuborg, Guinness, Corona), a wide range of local and imported spirits, and a range of Turkish wines along with a small selection of imported wines from Chile, Spain and Portugal. And, of course, the drinks of the moment - Prosecco and gin ... Vanilla Bar offers a wide choice including Hendricks, Tanqueray and Monkey. Add in Vanilla Bar's huge range of cocktails and you really will be spoilt for choice.  The bar also has a great selection of soft drinks as well as proper English tea (Tetleys) and filter coffee.  Snacks are available throughout the day along with Kath's home-made cakes.

Wednesday and Sunday nights are Quiz Nights at the Vanilla Bar.  This general knowledge quiz has become an established village favourite.  "Not to be taken too seriously" says Murat who will occasionally throw in a fun theme such as a Christmas-themed quiz in the middle of August.  The quiz runs from 10pm until midnight and there are prizes!

Fancy yourself as a singer?  Then come along to Vanilla Bar's Karaoke Nights on Tuesday and Friday.  With a virtually unlimited choice of tracks you are sure to find something that suits your style.  "Only bad singers allowed" warns the poster but if you do have talent you'll be welcome as well.  Karaoke evenings start at 9:30pm and run until the last person has left the building.

For more relaxing entertainment, Vanilla Bar has large screen satellite TVs which allow you to watch all your favourite sports events and there is an Xbox to keep the kids (and older kids) amused.
