Opened in 2013, Yalı Restaurant quickly established itself as a firm favourite with Turunç visitors and residents.  Owner Sezgin Demir has created a classy restaurant and transformed this previously unloved part of Turunç beachfront into a very desirable place to spend the day or evening.

With its blue and white "Mediterranean" theme, Yalı offers visitors a calm and airy atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy some truly wonderful food.  The Yalı restaurant team will be familiar to many: head waiter Zeki and his team are on hand to provide attentive but unobtrusive service.  Head chef Bayram has been at Yalı for seven years and continues to delight customers with his immaginative dishes.

By day, Yalı Restaurant offers a fantastic location. The beach is large, pristinely-tended, with well-spaced sunbeds set out on wooden boards to protect sensitive feet. There is even a gently sloping ramp, with a handrail, to aid anyone with mobility issues get into the sea. The shaded 'gazebo' provides plenty of comfortable sofas to relax.  Local or English breakfasts are available to start the day and there is a large choice of lunchtime meals and lighter snacks throughout the day:  drinks can be brought right to your sunbed.

Yalı's evening menu is extensive and imaginative and features both international and traditional Turkish cuisine.  The starter mezes are typically Turkish and provide a perfect accompaniment to the freshly cooked 'lavaş' bread from their wood oven that is provided.  Main courses range from simple pizza and Turkish pide through to delicious grills and special Turkish casseroles.  For seafood lovers, there is a great selection of perfectly-filleted, fresh fish every day from their chiller cabinet: octopus is a very popular choice with diners.  There is a large choice of desserts and fresh fruit on offer to round off your meal.

A wide range of wines, beers and spirits is on offer along with soft drinks and quality coffee: these can be enjoyed at the bar, your dinner table or one of the small tables on the promenade overlooking the beach: a perfect end to an evening.
